Why does MTT Ministries exist?
Our Purpose in MTT is to help independent,
fundamental, Bible-believing churches produce Christ-centered
young people with a servant’s heart. Our Theme is “Molding the next generation for Christ.”
The purpose of this application is to
give college and high school students an opportunity to serve
the Lord through short-term mission trips around the world. We
believe that a mission trip can be a life-changing experience
for the Christian young person. We offer training before each
trip, because we believe that every Christian should be
“prepared unto every good work.” (II Tim.2:21) It is important
for us to be a help and not a burden or hindrance on the
mission field.
Some of the areas of training include:
- Soul Winning
- Preaching
- Testimonies
- Story Telling
- Hand Chimes
- Vocal & Instrumental Music
- Drama
- Puppets
- Balloon Art
What does MTT stand
for? MTT
means Make a Timothy Today. "If a man therefore purge himself
from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and
meet for master's use, and prepared unto every good work." (2
Timothy 2:21)
What is MTT
Ministries all about?
When Bob and Joyce Landis were working as youth
directors in our local church, they quickly saw the importance
of training young people to serve the Lord. It became evident
that they had to show them, not just tell them, how to serve.
So they began training their youth group and taking them on
short-term mission trips. Soon families from other areas began
asking whether their teens could travel with them as well. As
a result, Make a Timothy Today Ministries (MTT) was born. MTT
has ministered in 15 different countries around the world and now takes out as many as six teams a
year.
MTT is an avenue for young people to seek God's will or just to make a difference
somewhere in the world.
