MTT Gospel Tract
Why do we travel around the world with groups of young people?

I'm glad you asked. . . . . . .

Sure we always enjoy seeing the beautiful sites while we are in each country. But that is not the real reason why we travel.

Our main purpose is much more important than that. You may have noticed the smiles on the faces of the team members as you browsed through our website. The joy that shines on their faces is genuine because we have a joy and peace that most people don't have in this world. "And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; it shall rejoice in His salvation." Psalm 35:9

Sure, we have had heartaches, fears, and problems in life like everyone else. But God promises peace to those that have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

So, why are we traveling? Because, we want people everywhere to know the same joy and peace that is in us. This world is full of violence and uncertainty, but God wants you to have His peace to guide you through your life.

Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, is the answer.
He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh to the Father, but by Him." John 14:6

We are hopeless without Him.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

We can't work our way to heaven.
And you can't become a Christian by being born into a Christian home. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8 & 9

We deserve eternal death for our sin.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord." Romans 6:23

The Good News is that God loves you, and paid the debt of sin for you.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

How can you accept this free gift of love and be assured of an eternal home in heaven?
"...If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

God promises eternal life to those who call on Him.
And He will keep you as His child forever. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand." John 10:28 & 29

Please accept God's free gift today, and you will have joy and peace, too.
